At The Happy Dog K9 Training™, we believe communication is the key to training your dog. Using positive reinforcement techniques, we teach you to "speak dog." You learn and practice a new language, while your dog learns to understand the cues you teach him and behaviors you want from him. You both develop the tools to understand each other and work together as a team. The result is a well-behaved dog. We help you teach your dog the meaning of being a good family member ~ and a welcome member of the community.

Group Classes

We offer group training in two locations, Nevada City and Auburn. Please see the Group Classes page for upcoming classes.

Private Sessions

In the comfort and privacy of your own home, we work with you and your dog to resolve behavior issues while teaching you how to build a successful partnership. In short, we give you and your dog the tools to live a long, satisfying life together.

A training plan designed just for you and your dog
